Agate is a very resistant stone that is formed from a set of quartz microcrystalline varieties, usually in bands of similar colors, some opaque, mixed with translucent.

The use of this stone gives us a sense of peace, balance, and well-being apart from the visually pleasing.
According to some writings they say the name “agate” comes from the river Achates, at the moment the Dirillo river, south of Sicily (Italy) where the first of these stones was found although they exist in diverse parts of the world.
